iSimangaliso Wetland Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site stretching 220 kilometres along the KwaZulu-Natal coast, encompassing Africa's largest estuarine system at Lake St Lucia, pristine coral reefs, coastal dune forests, and wetlands teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and over 500 bird species.
The park offers remarkable diversity: boat tours through the St Lucia estuary for hippos and Nile crocodiles, snorkelling and diving at Sodwana Bay's coral reefs, turtle-nesting beach walks from November to February, and game drives through the western shores section where rhino, buffalo, and leopard roam the coastal bush.
