Always drink sealed bottled water, or water that has been boiled and filtered. Most safari camps provide purified drinking water. Avoid tap water and ice made from untreated sources.
Fruits with edible skins (grapes, berries, apples) should be washed with purified water. Peel-and-eat fruits like bananas, oranges, and mangoes are generally safe as long as you wash your hands first.
